Looking for someone with medical office experience - scheduling appointments, answering phones and verifying insurance to join the team! Medical receptionist/scheduler duties include but are not limited to:
greeting and checking-in patients, verifying insurance, accepting co-payments, answering calls, making appointments, entering data into the Electronic Health Record and other duties as assigned.
Candidate must have the ability to interact with patients, peers and providers in person and on the telephone in a calm and professional manner, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidate should be detail oriented.
This is a travel position and the candidate must be able to travel to ancillary sites (currently Farmington and New Milford) as needed (usually one or two days a week).

Work is in person in the office.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
