In this position you will be responsible for:
Assisting with and revising prebills; posting changes to the accounting system Preparing monthly client invoices for partner's review using the firm's billing software Sending monthly invoices through the firm's billing software, mail or via various electronic billing platforms, in adherence with client and firm guidelines Researching and responding to billing issues, communicating with attorneys and staff to resolve issues Contacting clients regarding outstanding balances and replenishing trust accounts Acting as the firm's liaison with its CPA and outside bookkeeper Reviewing, recording and processing incoming payments and invoices in compliance with the firm's policies and procedures Performing other duties and projects as assigned You must bring exemplary attention to detail and enjoy being part of a team.
Experience working in a law firm is required.
Experience with electronic billing using LEDES 1998b and cloud based accounting platforms is not necessary, but a plus.

Pay is commensurate with experience, but in the range of $23.
