The Position:
You will help maintain an effective and efficient flow of invoices and support documents and assist in other aspects of our accounting process.
Responsibilities Accounts Receivable - Review new job set-ups, contracts and change orders to draft monthly AIA's for projected billing.
Set-up online billing as required.
Submit requisitions and supporting documentation to construction managers/owners for approval and payment.
Follow- up on overdue payments.
Request and record Payment and Performance Bonds on applicable contracts.
Ensure compliance with insurance, CCIP/OCIP, CHRO, Certified Payroll Reporting, lien waivers and other supporting documentation.
Prepare job close-out documentation, such as final waivers, guarantee/warranty forms, final sworn statements, and final supplier waivers.
Review and maintain documentation in support of MBE/SBE/WBE requirements and subcontractor/supplier certifications.
Qualifications Associates or Bachelors' degree.
Bookkeeping/Accounting experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.
Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills.
The ability to think and work independently.
Good problem-solving skills Self -starter with an instinct to take initiative.
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
